Being one of the closest disciples of the Lord, Saint Peter has always bourn an important role in his duties. It is, thus, only prudent to honour our patron saint by paying a tribute to the ancestry which has built Bishop Cotton’s to the stature it stands at today.
The festivities for every academic year begin on the 29th of June, as is tradition, with an air of solemnity on St. Peter’s day.
On this occasion, as is custom, the Bishop and presiding dignitary, Rt. Rev. Dr. Prasanna Kumar Samuel leads the institution in prayer. This year, the preacher was Rev. Dr. Chilkuri Vasantha Rao, who professed the sermon.
Our prayers are wholesomely garnished by the eloquent music, which is highlighted by the phenomenal efforts of the school’s augmented choir.
