The Sesquicentennial Graduation Day was held on the 23rd of January, 2016. It saw a plethora of Cottonians take the next step in their lives and head out into the world with their heads held high. The Chief Guest was Bharat Ratna Dr. C.N.R Rao, one of India’s most accomplished scientists, and only the 4th Scientist to be awarded India’s Highest Civilian Honour. The School Captain, Naveen Bhadrecha was the recipient of all 4 Cups in the Senior Section, while Shuvam Mishra and Adyant Balaji were awarded Cups in the junior Section. Padmanabhan Krishnamurthy was appointed as the School Captain Designate for the academic year 2016-17, and received the mantle of responsibility from the outgoing Captain, Naveen Bhadrecha. All in all, the Sesquicenetennial Graduation Day was a grand success and was an occasion to be remembered.
