On the 3rd of August, the students of Bishop Cotton Boys' School and the city of Bangalore was witness to the biggest Commerce and Economics fest in the city. Resurgence hosted over 1050 participants, presenting them with 14 eye-catching events run successfully within the span of a day. The fest's motive was to imbibe in students the steadfast rules of survival and success in the growing commercial world through various means simulated in the events, which ranged from crisis management to Human Resources. The chief guest for the event, Mr. Ashok from Microsoft enlightened the audience on the role of change and furthered the motive of the fest. More than a competition, the "Fest of the Phoenix" was a platform for aspiring business tycoons and commercial wizkids to explore their field of interest to give them a better idea on the career path they may choose. The winner of this year's edition was Christ Junior College and the runners up were Mount Carmel College. Cottons strongly awaits the years to come, hoping that the phoenix rises bigger and better as Time flies by.
